Inner Layers #1
I, I, I & Me

Lost in a private bliss, unaware of the world beyond the self.

Inner Layers is a series of graphite works exploring the hidden psychological layers of a person.
The works focus on the tension between inner experience and outward expression. What someone feels or thinks is not always immediately visible, but it can appear through subtle signals: a gaze, a posture, tension in the face or body.
Through composition, body language and visual disruptions, a second layer emerges in the image, making inner conflict and emotion tangible.
The series explores identity as something made of multiple, sometimes conflicting layers; layers that can appear at once or remain hidden.
